Reading codes
HAving trouble understanding how to read codes. I say on this sheet about the long and short pauses and flashed but do you count the number of flashes for a code? For example to get a code 36, it will flash 36 times?

When you jumper pins A+B on the ALDL and turn your key to ON (engine off) your SES light will flash a code 12 to signal the start of the string, after all the codes have flashed it will flash a code 12 again to signal the end of the string.
Code 12: 1 quick flash, short pause, 2 quick flashes.
Code 36: 3 quick flashes, short pause, 6 quick flashes.
Each code (including Code 12) will repeat 3 times. Between codes you will get 1 long pause.
Ie: If you only have a Code 36 you will see: 12-12-12,,,36-36-36,,,12-12-12
If you have no stored codes you will see: 12-12-12,,,12-12-12
