Default strange issues with ride control

my ride control started acting up after installing an aftermarket radio the better part of a year ago.

a couple of months ago, i was finally able to get error codes from it (previously i wasnt, perhaps an error i was making). i got codes 13 and 14, time out at left rear and right front.

i havent tried to get at either of the rear actuators, but i took the front ones off and inspected everything, including that they spin when the key is turned on, and all seemed fine.

then i had the idea that i could swap the 2 front actuators and see if that changed code 14 into code 21, or some left front code instead of a right front code.

thats where things gets real weird. swapping the 2 front actuators made all the codes go away for some reason. it was fine for months, but now the codes are back,

its still codes 13 and 14. maybe if i swap the front actuators again (which would be putting them back to where they were when i started) the problem will go away again? though it certainly wont help me figure out whats going on.

anyone have any ideas? could the issue just be the left rear (code 13) and the code 14 is erroneous? i've seen references to such things happening in various palces. but if so, why did code 13 disappear for months even though ive never touched that actuator?
