Default 89 Dash glitching and flickering

So my dash cluster has been acting weird lately. During the day the range/trip odo and oil press/temp gauges will flicker and sometimes just go out entirely.

I did upgrade the lights to be leds so I figured they had just come loose, wouldn't be the first time. But I just took the dash out and they are all in there solid.

On top of that, this only happens during the day, at night everything behaves and works normally. Could be the photocell but it might be caused by the same thing causing my other problem

My dash has been really glitchy for the past year or so. Idk how to describe it so here's a link to a vid of it happening:
https://youtube.com/shorts/3V7CnKgOTDM?si=twYZfjDvP4cp956x

The only reason why I left it be for so long was a). Its only gotten that bad once before, and b). I couldnt find anything online about it, let alone try to describe it.

My guess is water got into the system somewhere, as this started after I got rained out one day with the hood open. Thought it would drain and sort itself out, and it kinda did.

It gets worse when its colder out. I live in lowcountry SC so it gets fairly hot during the summer. And during the hotter months this problem is non existent. Moment the temps start to drop, or its humid out, it turns into what you see in the video.

Its worst on the tachometer, but the entire dash is affected. I'd like to figure this problem out first since both problems could be linked to this. Any ideas on where this water is, or if its water at all?

You say it doesn't happen during day. Is that because you don't have the head/running lights on? Can you reproduce it during the day by turning the headlights on?

I have tried reproducing it with the lights on during the day and it would still go out. The flickering did lessen when I covered the photocell though. It also seems to be that specifc light in general. Just swapped it around with the light behind the spedo and the spedo started to flicker. Gonna see if a new set of LEDs fixes things.

Still have that weird glitching thing though. Seemed to ramp up after I took the dash apart, so maybe it just needs to be cleaned? Still think its the water thing, but it wouldnt hurt to try that first and save my self some headache chasing down that electrical bug
