Default 1989 corvettes code 34 and 36

Hey guys my 1989 corvette is throwing up codes 34 and 36. It’s also having a rough time accelerating. I’m hoping to find out if these issues are related and what could possible reasons be.

I don’t have a scanner to test that however I did use MAF sensor cleaner and it is running significantly better however not at its best. I’m thinking the MAF sensor might be bad. Additionally it might be worth mentioning that it says my average MPG is 99

The only time I have seen MPG at 99 is when I've seen an ECM failure. Others can confirm / chime in.

Follow the FSM procedure, it will likely point to MAF or MAF relays, of which there are 2 behind the battery on the firewall.

If you replace the MAF itself, you should go ahead and replace the relays with it.
