No ABS light but wheels do lock!
Hello, I have a 1990 model with the 6-speed. I bought it from someone who had bypassed the abs system apparently due to a faulty Bosch pump. Obviously I had the ABS system light on the dash.
I bought and reinstalled a remanufactured ABS pump with it's controle module, from a 89 model. I replaced the pump with the new one but if I remember correctly I had to keep the original module from my 90.
Since then, I have no more ABS light on the dash, BUT wheels do lock if I brake very hard, meaning the ABS probably doesn't do its job...
Any idea?
