Water Pump Installation 530$ yeowww!!
$530 is the lowest price i've found so far for the installation of a new water pump in my 1995 corvette. is this right? i'd do it myself, but i don't have the place or the tools to do it, plus i'm pretty bad at this kind of thing.
thanks,

Unfortunately, that doesn't sound too far off. That's why I bit the bullet and changed the water pump on my 91 myself. I took my time and labeled all the stuff I had to remove.
Best of luck to you.

I paid 100 bucks labor and I supplied the pump. All 4 bolts broke off and it took an air chisel to remove the old pump. It came off in 3 pieces because it galled to the front of the block. I don't think that shop ever wants to see my car again!

If you are going to go that far you might as well do the optispark while you are at it. They won't charge extra labor since the water pump needs to be removed anyway.
