Finally got my Camber brace installed today and I was excited to take it out and see if it made a big improvement. Put it in reverse and backed out of the garage and ito the street without any problems. I start to drive off and notice it isn't shifting out of low. Bring it home and notice its alittle low on fluid ( about half a quart). Filled it up but I really didn't think that was the problem. It engages into reverse and forward gears fast but just won't come out of low when its moving. Hopefully this is something silly like the TV cable or something cheap to fix. I'm really not ready for the trans to come out until I get the new cam and torque converter. Got any ideas? :banghead:
Yeah, I was hoping it was something easy ( read: cheap) like the TV cable. I must have got it in a bind or something. Guess I'll have to climb unnderit on my next days off. But if anyone else has any ideas, I'd really like to hear them. :grouphug:
I was running just fine when it went into the garage. The only thing I did was jack up the front to put on the camber brace and when I let it down, it just wouldn't work. Maybe something just came loose underneath. As soon as it warms up some I'll check it out. :seeya
