lunati voodoo 10120701 cam
I have a 1986 L98 with stock aluminum heads and flat tappet lifters. Came out of an 86 C4 and I have put it into a 78 C3. Project has gone on far too long and I have had the engine running for a while, just pulling in and out of the garage. I am now starting to go over things for a final time and making sure everything is correct. I know about disconnecting the wire while I am setting the timing but the only info I have is to set the timing for an OEM engine at 6 degrees. Any thoughts/experiences with this Lunati Voodoo 10120701 https://www.summitracing.com/int/par...701lk#overviewcam setup? The engine is stock, over by .030, nothing special. All help is welcome. I put a 219/224 110LSA cam in my engine. It too is a Lunati voodoo. I am bored .030 over with new larger pistons, AFR 195 heads, ported and polished intakes, long tube headers and a bunch more. The cam is fantastic

I did a lot of research and for the L98 it is supposed to be a great set up. What degrees did you start setting your timing up ? I really can't find any info short of Youtube and I really try NOT to get my info from there. I guess I will put a call out to Lunati tomorrow and see what they tell me. Thx for the reply.
