I just ordered new seats and belts for the ruby. What do ya guys thinK??
I do have a question for the owners of the Hardbar. How do you like it and do you feel it is a good quality piece of equipment. It is nearly 100 less than the R-D cross bar and I want to make sure it will work well as a fastening point for the overshoulder belts
The (2)seats and the (2)brakets were right at 550 shipped to my door. The (2)belts another 110. Not bad at all considering some of the other seats I was looking at were 500 each with out brakets or belts.
I don't know about the Hardbar but the R-d Racing Cross Bar is a great anchor point for my 5-point harness. I hope to get seats like that soon. Good luck!! Let us know how well they fit.
I have the Arizona Speed and Marine harness bar in mine. Works will for me.
It bolts up to the shoulder harness bolt hole.
This is the setup I'm wanting to go with also. My stock seatbelts don't work at all. Do any of you guys have problems with cops and this setup on the street?
So the AS&M bar has the bolts already mounted for quick hookup of the belts. There is a way to mount the belts with just the sliders and rapping the belt but I would like to bolt them. Thanks for the info

Yes, the AS&M comes with bolts already mounted so all you do is have to bolt the shoulder harness up to the bar.

R&D's Cross Bar bolts right into existing seat belt holes then attche the harness to the bar. I have't had any problems in the last year I have been running a Cross Bar and 5 point harness, but I tuck them behind/under the seat and use the stock belts on the street though. I got pulled over once and I don't think the cop saw the harness.
I have a Forza in the driver's side. It is quite tolerable on the street. Do agree on getting set of belts as the OEM belts really aren't safe with this seat as they don't go thru the hip holes...leaving slack between you and the belt.
I do find that I need even more support than this seat offers. I will be getting on of those $500 plus jobs you mentioned...move this one to the passenger side.
