Default New Radiator

I need suggestions for my 96 LT1 automatic. I know Dewitt is pretty popular around here. Any other recommended brands. I am looking for a direct fit. My car is totally stock. I don't want to do any modifications.
Should I change the thermostat too? I am also going to do the lower and upper hoses considering they are original.

Been looking at Dewitts. Gonna run around $600. Any opinions on this on from Ecklers? https://www.ecklers.com/1991-1996-co...E&gclsrc=aw.ds

You should be able to purchase 'local' I'd think for likely better product and compeditive pricing.

I'd try this one from RockAuto. You could put in a lower thermostat if you wanted, 160 degrees is really popular in this group. Being an OBD 2 car you might be able to tune the ECM to kick the fans on earlier as well. The LT1 cars love getting hot so anything you can do to help would likely benefit you.

I also have a stock 96. I got the Dewitts single row and really like it. I use a fail safe thermostat which opens faster than others. I go down the interstate when it is 95 degrees and run at 185-186 degrees. Dan

I saw that one on their site. $600 not including shipping. Seems pretty steep. I am looking at this one... https://www.ecklers.com/1991-1996-co...E&gclsrc=aw.ds
I can't imagine Ecklers sells junk radiators. I have purchased stuff from them and Zip and Jegs, and Summitt and Corvette Central and never had an issue with anything.

I think I bought mine for way less maybe 5 years ago. Inflation these days is crazy. In an airport right now. Simple cheeseburger was $18.00. Dan
