Replacing Drivers power window mechanism putting the parts all back in and there is a two wire plug that is capped off in the area at back of door. This has a plastic clip on it but not sure where this clips to.

If it has a lt blue wire in it, it is for a "hatch" release switch that is installed in the door panel in Coupes. This switch was no longer fitted to Convertibles beginning I believe, in 1993. The door panel may or may not have a filler plug in the switch location.

That's it. The wire colors are correct for the hatch release button for the coupe. Gry/blk is the door pin switch, closed to ground when the door is open.
Those wires are 'live'. Put a jumper between them and the convertible deck release solenoids should actuate.Anyway, put the cover back on and secure it so it doesn't rattle. Cheers.
