Cruise Control Problem
I just had the plastic vacuam valve replaced under the fuel rail, but cruise control is still not working properly. I don't think it is a vacuam issue. My mechanic thinks it is either the servo, or some kind of brake switch. I can set the cruise control it will work fine for a couple miles than disengage, when I try to reset, it disengages again. Sometimes I can drive 10 miles or so and it will stay engaged than disengage. Has anyone had this problem, do you guys have any suggestions of what could be causing this condition. I really need to get the cruise control fixed, otherwise I find myself going way over the speed limit. Thanks for your help, have a great weekend. Hank..

I know that the transducers on the early ones were a prob and are expensive. I have found a broken wire at the sloder joint inside just resoldred it and it was fine. I talked to someone else in here back then and it worked for them. I dont know if its your problem but. good luck :cheers:
