TunerPro not cooperating
It's been a couple of years but I thought I remembered how. Can't read my current chip to verify what I last coded to my BIN. New laptop since then and downloaded a newer copy of TunerPro. I plug the Moates burner in the only USB for my new laptop. When I launch TunerPro, it beeps like it used to do. The utility even activates....
At first, I forgot to select the correct chip (which I think I've done now. (see pic)
I punched "Read Chip", Punched Verify Chip, then punched "Load Buffer to file"
After doing so, I select that BIN and select the 6E XDF "mask". But....
When I look at the data nothing is really there. Spark table is all 89.65...and fuel constant is 0.15.
WTF?
The compare files display correctly. I don't get it.
FWIW, the chip is in the Burn2 with the notch on the end toward the handle and the top 2 rows aren't used.
I even put the Burn2 away years ago with a chip still in it -- so I'm 99.9% sure it's clamped in correctly.
Is there something I'm forgetting?
Let's just say yes...and help me figure out what that is, please!!

OF COURSE I TRIED MY OLD LAPTOP TOO. The one that isn't working well.
It DID launch for a bit but oddly did not recognize the Burn2 and tried to download a driver.
That failed. Great. (Maybe because it's a Win7 laptop and is no longer supported?

I think it has something to do with reading the chip with the offsets applied. Can't remember which one in your above pic you need to set it to read the lower portion, 1/4 if you're using a 16K bin on a 27SF512 EEPROM.
00C000 -> 00FFFF

00C000 -> 00FFFF
DING DING! that was it...I needed to change the starting offset to 00C000.
