Default Vacuum Line Routing Help

I am trying to figure out where all my missing vac lines are supposed to go on my '90 and I hit a roadblock. I've got this check valve-like object with 3 ports on it. One goes to the plenum, one goes to the Vac. Ball and Cruise. I cannot find the other place it goes. According to the emissions sticker it is for HVAC & Cruise. Where does the other port go? I cannot find any missing ports or unknown charred remains.

Here's a pic if it helps:

Thanks all!

Dale

Look behind the distributor, very close to the firewall for the broken plastic hose. Its a biatch to get at.

As stated above, there is a hard plastic line that is wrapped/taped inside the corrugated wire loom, it hooks to the open port on your one way vacuum valve, then it runs to the heating/airconditiong controls inside the car, under the dash.

Ok, so it is for the HVAC. Cool, that would explain why I only have the defroster vents working. I was hoping it wasn't some electrical problem.

Now, where does this line pass thru the firewall? Is it in the middle of that huge harness connector?

Thanks All!!

I too broke that line. Now air comes out of defrost and dash vents all the time. I spliced the two broken ends together with a piece of tubing, but apparently it's not a good seal. Is there a proper fix for this, or has that hard line been discontinued?

It should be right around the back of the distributor. I had the same thing happen, and it took me forever to find it even though it was in plain sight.

Yeah, in the harness. I spliced into it with good black rubber vacuum line and replaced all the plastic lines with black rubber hose. That plastic stuff gets brittle after the years, I was working on the car one day in Jan when it was about 35 degrees out and I broke most of it!!!
