700r4 Rebuild
My 86 700r4 has a bad front pump leak. Debating on pulling the trans and getting it either refreshed or swap with a rebuilt trans. And recommendations on trans builders? Car is stock and staying stock. I'm in Northern Indiana if that matters.

You're question has many levels, a front pump can be resealed for as little as a couple of rubber seals a paper gasket and a transmission flush plus labor. Honestly a Grand or less.
Next what's leaking Converter seal? The cover plate?
Is the transmission giving any other Grief
Converter seal basically is labor and a $20 seal, I Personally wouldn't pull a transmission for 3 drops on the driveway on a 30 plus old car it's expected. Puddle yes drop here and there no.
