Hi all, did a search but wasn't able to find any info.
i have grooved Bilstein shocks many times for coilover sleeves, exactly as Callaway and DRM do them.
I want to do this to Koni Yellow adjustible shocks, but can't seem to find enough info on whether or not it has been done.
I did find info on other Koni shocks where grooves have been added above or below existing grooves, however those are different shocks, and the 1097/1098 shocks don't come with any grooves.
Can you fill me in on this procedure? I was looking at the DRM setup, but I have Ridetech shocks and not Bilstein.
not sure if the DRM setup will work on Ridetech shocks, but they do work just fine on Bilstein and Koni.
there are cheaper options available at Summit Racing that do the same as the DRM kit, the Allstar coilover sleeve kit for Bilstein works exactly the same way, and is significantly cheaper.
Summit also have significantly better customer service than DRM seem to these days.
