completely rattling my head with this but my driver side door lock stopped locking. have this picture of the back of the lock cylinder and latch
im sure theres supposed to be some way that the latch and cylinder connect but im not sure exactly how. is there some kind of clip that fell off. or is it some kind of wire? let me know yall. thanks
checking it closer it seems to me that the rod is bent in a U where it connects to the locking cylinder. just wanted to confirm with yall that this is not normal and i should unbend it so it will accept those little clips i bought. thanks yall

If this a left door to lock cylinder do an eBay search for 14043183 and there's several very good images of the rod and the appropriate clip is shown with some. You shouldn't need to do an eBay buy I just used it as a 'what you should see'!
