Hey guys, have any of you installed the Pypes SCC40R dual exhaust on your car? I finished my headman header install and got my heated 02 sensor done on my 89 6 speed coupe. The instructions for the exhaust system are not very good and I’m not really understanding how it is supposed to be hung from the car. It looks like the front hanger isn’t used at all and there’s an L bracket you are supposed to use for the rear, but I can’t really figure out what I’m supposed to do. Thanks for any help you guys can provide.

Looks fairly easy to figure out. After looking at the picture of the kit, you'd hang the mufflers in the stock locations. That leaves one/two other hangers. There's no reason that the stock hanger (that attaches) to the transmission) couldn't be modified/reused. Assuming you can't use the clamps that go around the stock pipes, weld a "T" hanger upside down...up thru the Pypes exhaust and bolt it to the hanger/strap that's the upper part of the trans-mount. My year merely uses something similar to a coat hangar to clip thru the C-beam. Like the under-trans mount, you might have to fab your own solution.
NOTE: It would be considered essential to retain a point of disconnect -- for servicing the drive train. If the picture (online) is accurate, maintain the mid-section connect, as well as a removable (3-bolt flange) to your headers.
