LT-4 with a blower?
Who out there has put a Blower on a Stock LT-4 car? what Power #'s did it make? How about a Heads/cam with a Blower?
I think I have my heads/cam WS-6 sold, and if so I will be getting a LT-4 car, but 330 hp is no were near enough power for me...

If you want to run any real boost numbers it's not worth it. A stock LT4 has 10.8:1 compression and somewhat weak stock pistons (for blower applications) so you will be limiting yourself to about 5-6 lbs of boost maximum if you want the engine to live for any amount of time. My advice would be to get a good heads/camp/exhaust package done, that will get you around 450FWHP, and then if you still want more rebuild the botton end using better rods and pistons, then add a blower that way you can lower the comp ratio and run 8-10lbs of boost easily and not worry about it grenading at any moment. I'm going through this right now...I have the heads/cam done and will be rebuilding the motor in a few months to a 383+blower, I've talked to a lot of people around here about LT4's and blowers and most well known places such as Arizona Speed and Marine just refuse to put a blower on a stock LT4.
