Default Alarm??

Hello everybody and thank you in advance. I’m bringing back to life a 1988 blue on blue Corvette. As I go through and work on this car, I find some extra parts. Please see the picture below. This appears to be an aftermarket alarm. Doesn’t work. So my question is is this a true assumption? If so, I need to remove the horn and the extra cables.
Thank you

I'm not sure what that is. I have a tendency to carefully remove aftermarket electrical components and wiring. Id make sure i kept track to what went where in case its removed creates problems. I am convinced POs have an obsession for hacking into stock wiring.

Default Alarm horns are Multiplying

Well, as the mystery continues, I found another. Horn. Mounted behind the radiator fan. I have no idea why somebody had two alarm horns on this car, but if anybody has any idea why a horn would be there for the alarm system please let me know. I do have the factory build sheet and it didn’t come with an alarm.

they are multiplying like rabbits

It wouldn't be all that odd that a 35 year old car, the Remy horns have actually failed. Do the horns work? They're wired how? Do you have the FSM(Factory/Field Service Manual) for the car?

Default Yes horn

Yes, I do have the factory manuals. The horn does work. I also discovered a built-in K 40 radar detector, would’ve been nice if I had a CB radio. Breaker 1-9

thank you guys for all the feedback. Have a great day.
