Default Going old school

So I’m gonna change the top end of my 84 the engine overheated bad so I removed the junk heads went with double hump head with the larger valves and a edelbrock scorpion intake and Holley 750 double feed carb also am thinking of changing the water pump to a clockwise and eliminating the AC and tensioner to clean up the look of the engine bay. don’t know if I will have a problem with transmission kick down or the computer not running any tbi system or any problems if anyone has done this before or any ideas fell free to respond

Nice looking ride.

Is there a reason you went with double humps, besides having them or availability?

As opposed to, say, AFR Enforcer, or Trick Flow "Fast as Cast," perhaps any of the Edelbrock offerings...

I was thinking more like:

I've got a set of the castings, somewhere. They need everything, guides, studs, re-machine the seats... By the time I got them in running condition I could buy a set of new aluminum castings that flow more out of the box than the double humps can be ported to.

However, if I found a set ready to go, for a reasonable price, they could be a fun upgrade for an engine with lesser heads.
