Default Corvette Central/Top Flight exhaust system defect?

I bought a Corvette Central/Top Flight full catless exhaust system for my 85 and immediately hit a snag. The pipes at the back of the front Y heavily favor the driver's side of the car, to the point that if I attach the pipes that go to the rear, they'll be way to one side, making attaching the mufflers impossible.

This seems to be a factory defect to me unless there's something obvious I missed? I can't really move the downpipes from where they're attached after all, and even if I leave the bolts at the manifold loose I still don't get enough wiggle room to center the Y/attach the passenger side muffler. Currently waiting on Corvette Central to get back to me after sending them these photos.

Has anyone dealt with something like this before?

Apparently lots of people on Facebook have run into similar scenarios with build quality and bad fitment

I had problems with a pair of mufflers purchased from them that was way off and had to have a different set sent to me.

I'm hoping I'll be able to reach the same conclusion with my case but they're definitely dragging their feet in the manufacturers side

I hope for your sake, that the wait isn't long!!! Your photos clearly show that the kit you received is defective....not even close to "right" actually, pretty sad to see!!! I wouldn't let it slide for very long, your car shouldn't be "down" for weeks because of it! As soon as you sent them pictures, they should have immediately sent you another kit and a return shipping label for the first one.....Good luck, remember the squeaky wheel gets the grease....or files a dispute with the credit card company!!! Tell them it's a "hardship" (your daily driver) and you need resolution NOW!!! It's a bummer to see/ hear about, because I've had very good luck with Corvette Central...I hope they get you taken care of👍

Yeah they've usually been pretty good to me and this same kit as worked for many others, but this experience is definitely a bummer. Fortunately I've still got the old exhaust on the car for now, but unfortunately it's quite rotten and messed up by the previous owner. I'll definitely be bugging them more often.
