Default Stock internals

Have some quick questions.

What are the stock internals of a 92 LT1 i thought I read somewhere they cone with forged internals.

What rpm can you safely spin then to if you do the all the intake track mods?

What is a good set of 1.6 roller rockers that would just be bolt on?

Does anybody still tune these or would the only option be an off the shelf chip?

Stock internals of the LT1 are shown here.

Only thing different is 1992-1994 LT1 had forged rods, 1995-1997 had powdered metal rods.

Roller rockers, get a set of quality 1.6 narrow body, self aligning roller rockers. Usually you will have to trim the drip tabs in the valve cover to install the rockers.

For tuning.

i wasnt sure if it was 1994 or 1995 when they switched

they went to the powdered metal rods bc they were easier (and prob cheaper) for their supplier to produce the 500000 a year or so they needed for all the lt1 engines

I agree with James, but you'll also need a good valve spring. The right combination of parts will bring up the peak power on the stock motor. I dialed my 1993 lt1/4l60 in '05 at 6k rpm on an auto. Been that way for two decades. Alvin for the tune.
