Default Beginner to the C4

Hello,

New member here and have a lot to learn about a 1985 Vette I acquired. I got the car with the engine torn apart. I used to work in a machine shop many years ago as an engine builder but got away from it for a while.
My question is what would be a good camshaft for the rebuild. I know nothing about the TPI or early computer controlled vehicles. The guy I got it from provided me with new 24 lb injectors and long tube headers. I am going back with flat top pistons and would like for the car to have a noticeable idle. The car has the 4+3 transmission.

Thanks in advance.

Welcome to the forum!

I am relatively new too. You might need a tune with a new camshaft or bigger injectors. I know there was another post with some good info for a 1985. Hopefully some early C4 experts jump in here too!
