Running Issue 95
I had an issue with overheating which looked like the thermostat not opening fully. Car ran fine otherwise. Picked up a new thermostat but sat for a few weeks until i could install. When I went to move it into driveway it started fine but it would stall after less than 15 seconds. Put fuel pressure gauge on and pressure is fine while cranking and once it started for the few seconds it did run. At this point I'm crossing fuel issue off the list. Since it starts I have spark. Looking for thoughts on what direction I should go in this problem.

While the fuel pressure is fine and it does fire which indicates spark I do want to ensure there is not an Opti spark problem causing an inconsistent spark after it does start. Keep in mind I have large hands with arthritic thumbs it is very difficult to get into tight areas and grasping tools at same time. Is there any simple way to test for consistent spark?? As I have previously said, it was running fine prior to running into the overheating issue and through testing to ensure the fans were coming on at proper temps.
