Default Injector testing

I have Bosch 3 injectors in the fuel rail of my 89 6 SPD. Will the stock clips hold the injectors in. I want to pull the fuel rail and pressurize it to see if any of the injectors are leaking. So if I purchase clips will they hold the Bosch 3s in place. What is the resistance of the Bosch 3s. I measured 11.5 OHMs.

Thank you

Hi refer to image below, the Bosch 111 injectors must have two o rings at the bottom. They are slightly shorter than the standard injectors, that prevents the body of injector being narrow going down too far like the std injectors. The upper clips do hold them, just ensure you put oil on o rings to lubricate them. loosely fit intake runner bolts and pressure test the injectors before torquing the intake runner bolts. Be aware twisting or repositioning the injectors, after doing up the injector rail bolts can cause the o rings to leak. So tip from those who have experienced that, cycle the ignition key on a few times to prime and pressure test before doing up all the intake run

ner bolts.. 🙂👍

I contacted SouthBay and spoke to Frank he feels it is not the injectors. I am going to adjust the FPR. He also said that when using an aftermarket FPR once the pump is shut the fuel pressure often goes to zero quickly. To prevent that you need to polish the disk used to press the diaphragm with 4000 grit sandpaper.
