Default Interior judging question

Hello everybody thank you in advance for your feedback regarding this subject. I have a 88 and the foam padding in the seat is just gone. When you drive the car the seat, you feel the springs as they gently introduce themselves to your buttocks. I called Al Knoch today And they advised me they can’t just replace the foam they have to replace the entire cover. If I take this route and put in a new Al Knoch correct seats what will be the point hit??

While my foam is fine my old butt is sensitive and needs some extra padding. I found a cheap seat pad that kinda matched the interior color. I like it. Way cheaper. Dan

Assuming the seat leather is in good condition and does not need replacing, you might want to contact a local auto/marine upholsterer who has decent reviews. I had a friend with a similar problem and they replaced the existing stock padding with new and thicker padding, keeping her original seat upholstery. I don't recall what it actually cost her, but do remember thinking it was a good bit less than what I thought it would be.

The foam and leather are 2 different pieces. You can replace just the foam if leather is good. And vice versa
