C4 Tranny Leak and Startup Issues
Hello everyone, so I’ve got an ongoing predicament with my 1995 c4 and I’m going to try and be as descriptive as possible for your guy’s understanding. So, on Friday I started and pulled the car out of the garage to move some things and noticed a red puddle about the diameter of a of a soccer ball, I went under the car and discovered a trans fluid pan gasket leak(a very slow one). I then decided to not drive it for the next day and placed a pan under it to catch the fluid. I then decided I wanted to start the car and check the fluid level on Sunday. When I turned the key to start it I heard a clink noise come from the front left of the drivers seat and the sound of liquid pouring/moving. I then jumped out and looked for any signs of leak or wetness anywhere, but I found none, the underneath and the engine bay were dry as a bone(aside from the already discovered trans leak). I then got back in the car and tried to start it one more time but this resulted in no lights coming on, and no noise of any kind. The car now has no power, not even to the locks in the doors. I am now lost and I’m not sure what’s going on. Help is much appreciated.
