Default OK...where does it go? Runner to Plunum STUD

There's a stud that looks like it holds three spark plug wires on the driver's side.
I think that it goes in one of the two middle holes, either runner to plunum or runner to intake manifold.
I saw one diagram in my service manual that shows a stud on the top-runner to plunum but not the holder attached to it. :skep:
Anybody know?
Thanks. :flag

That's the holder for your Throttle and Cruise cables. I just happened to be looking at another thread and still had this picture open. Scroll down and take a look at the engine pic, is that the one you are referring to?

If it is, the stud screws in then that plastic holder just slides onto it.

Yea. That sure looks like it.
Is there any difference between '85 and '89?

I'm pretty sure they are the same. It's really the only logical place it can go to make those cables line up properly.

Just be careful when you snap the clip back together, they get brittle with time and heat. I broke mine once when I was putting it back together and had to buy the part from the dealer, $12 for a stupid plastic clip.
