Does anyone know if these things can monitor the engine while it's running? All I find in the manual is OBDII info. OBDI just covers Scan info near as I can tell.

Mine, which is an Auto X-ray XP240, can monitor parameters with the engine running.
Hmmmm..... mine says EZ-LINK Scanner. It does have the other components for different brands and OBDII. It looks a tad different than yours. The Manual does not have the page yours does either. Rats.I'm wondering if OBDI does not allow live monitoring. May be scan only.

Mine is OBD I only. I have a different one for OBD II
I may not be able to "monitor" the readings, but I think I can scan at anytime and receive info at that moment. The manual says "Read and display live sensor information even while running the engine, or driving the vehicle (on equipped vehicles)."
After I get this thing running, I'll find out. Right now I'm trying to find out why the MAT sensor insists it's 203 degrees in the intake. I have a service manual and am going through all the tests. I have a feeling it's the ECU.
