Default a/c refrigerant / oil

I've recently charged my a/c system with r1234yf and pag100. this oil is double end capped and formulated for use with this refrigerant. Is the 100 viscosity too high for this refrigerant? or 46 is too low for the compressor.
the AI agent swears by the 46grade because of beter flow through the system.
the car is a 91' tpi l98.
I've also noticed a leak through the high pressure valve, before the AC could run for more than 30 minutes including the charging phase. Air in the cabin gets cool and the accumulator forms a film of ice. I've noticed at some point the clutch went on and off for a minute then it remained on but the compressor case gets hotter. I remember it was cooler while I was doing the system recharge. now, so I plan flushing the system and charge again. current symptoms after the leak.

I haven't studied up on R1234YF but if you have ice on your accumulator, you may be overcharged or your orifice tube is too big. There should not be ice present on the accumulator because that indicates the refrigerant is boiling there instead of the evaporator. An overcharge can also cause your heating problem because of the increased pressure.

thank you. I didn’t know freezing acumulator can be a symptom of a problem. I’ll check the pressure on both sides.
ps.
l
prressure 25/200 then after a few minutes 25/250 psi. I will remove the refrigerant and flush the system. last time there were a few aluminium particles so the compressor is probably cooked. if they start to build up they clog the orifice sieve.

The accumulator is there to insure no liquid refrigerant gets to the compressor. You can't compress a liquid. Under normal conditions it will be cold but if ice forms, it indicates excess liquid is boiling off - much the same as a propane tank that is supplying max gas.
