96 LT4 No Start

96 LT4 No Start
Just put it back together after new oil and timing cover gaskets.
Prior to that, I put a new Petris opti. Maybe put 50 miles on it. Took it apart due to the massive oil leak.
Opti didn't get wet during removal.
Everything is connected properly.
Fuel pressure is strong.
During engine cranking, I can hear a "pop" sound if I let it crank long enough.
If the plug wires are connected wrong on the opti, I'm assuming it would still start, but misfire. True?
Any ideas what I messed up?

Id recheck the plug wires. If incorrectly routed the engine may or may not start. The pop your hearing may be from a misfire which may be from improperly routed wires. Or you sure the opti didn't get wet?

I installed the opti wrong. I have video, I'll upload it here, later. Incase it can help someone.
