hi, I'm looking for this switch located right in front of the evaporator. Its leaking where the plastic meets the metal, considering jbweld or sonehow encapsulate it if i cant find one. System was converted to r134a by previous owner. Note the round connectors, everything I'm seeing is square, mechanic can't find it either. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks but those are 3 pronged, I only have. 2. See pics above. I can't figure it out, I have no idea what this thing is.
Then if it were mine, I'd find any cycling switch that fits your threads and change the pigtail. Nothing special about Corvette AC. It has the same four part AC cycle as millions of other cars.

yes it might come down to that, trying all other avenues before I start cutting wires. Thanks again.
The three-pronged is the high side transducer that is on the liquid line beginning with model year 1992. Not what the OP is looking for.
The round pressure cycling switch in the OP's pic is the GE "world" switch that I've seen on other GM carlines beginning with model year 1993. The white body indicates that this is a R-12 calibration cycling switch. The R-134 'world' switch has a black body, but is not interchangeable with the white body because the thread nipple is larger on R-134 accumulators. The R-12 white body is going to be a tough find because it was only used for a couple of model years. I have some used white bodies in my stash from junk-yarding.
I'd follow arbee's suggestion and replace the world switch with the earlier, still available adjustable switch and install two .250 female tab terminal on the existing wires. Four Seasons 36674 is listed on Rock Auto as a "R-134", has the lower pressure settings used with R-134, and has the same 7/16-20 thread as the R-12 switch that has higher settings. I just verified that the R-12 (white body) switch is 7/16-20.
I'd install the 36674, benefit from the slightly lower outlet temperatures under conditions that the clutch does cycle, and call it done.

I will send you the used white switch I have from junk-yarding. I did replace a few of these 'world' switches back in the day that died electrically, I have no idea if it is good or not. (I'll never use it, my stuff has been converted to R-134 with adjustable switches, and the one remaining R-12 car doesn't use the world switch.)
I'll send it USPS with an envelope to put a $10 bill in to cover the postage. PM me your addy, if interested.
Got it figured our, $34 at Autozone. Search for 93 Buick Regal 3.8 V6. Went right in. Just need to get the system tested for leaks and charged up. Santec MT0204.
