re-camming the LT1
I have a '93 6spd and am considering heads+cam or just heads.
I'm concerned with picking the right cam--I want one that is drivable and
performs. By drivable, I mean, with stock gears, is it harder than stock
to take off from a standing start? My car will be used in stop-and go, I
like an easy start.
What do you all think about these:
1. Crane comp cam: 212/224 @.050, 112 sep, 520/536 lift, 264/286 dur@.006
2. Crane powermax 2033: 210/224@.050, 112 sep, 474/518 lift, 272/286dur
3. The Hot cam: 212/228@.050, 112 sep, 525/525lift/w1.6 rollers, 279/287dur
