Trans fluid change...
Ok guys, as most of you know I replaced my tranny and torque converter about a month ago. It now has about 3000 miles on it. My question is, do I need to do a premature fluid change since it is a newly rebuilt trans or can I wait for the normal 15k mark? And when I do change the fluid, can I just change the filter, o-ring and fluid in the pan or do I need to do a complete flush?

But not a bad project.
I don't know how critical the timing is though; my installer knew that I was taking her down the 1/4mi several times each weekend.

If the fluid looks and smells ok, it is fine. As George Carlin would say "leave it alone!". It is not faced with hydrocarbons, as in engines, which requires constant change.
