I have a 1989 corvette and am trying to delete the AC. I have tall valve covers leading to my AC compressor being in the way. Does anyone know of an easy fix to removing the AC?
I changed to a standard rotation "short" water pump and reused the stock pulley.
I removed the top alternator mount and fabricated a belt tensioner from a turnbuckle.
I ran like that for years without any issues.
( As you see I needed the A/C pump space for something else)
