For those of you experienced with rebuilding C4 calipers, what are your thoughts on this gouge in one of my rear brake pistons?
It was not leaking, and the gouge is far above the inner seal, so I don't anticipate an issue. But could use a few second opinions.
Plus, if I do choose to replace them, any source recommendations? Top Flight Automotive is the only in-stock source I've found so far.
Thanks for the feedback. I've rebuilt many motorcycle calipers, but on bikes it's less piston real estate and higher stakes. Will give this a good polish and send it!
