OK, so the outsides of my tires wore really fast. So I took it to the alignment shop, and they said I need lower ball joints. So today I replaced the lower ball joints.
It feels a bit better, but I noticed that it still shimmies a bit up front when I hit a bump. Before I did the ball joints, the alignment was pretty far off.
I'm having it aligned next week, my question is could these symptoms still be due to the bad alignment? Or do i have other problems that they missed?
Gotta have the whole thing aligned and see if the problem returns. Tie rods may be worn from the bad ball joints, out-of-balance tires. Shocks could cause it, but i wouldnt worry about that one yet.
Yeah, the shocks are new and the tires are SHOT from the ball joints, so when I put new tires on and get the alignment done i'm hoping it all goes away
