The "Damper Doctor" rebuilds them. You could send him the picture. If it was mine I would send it and have it rebuilt by a pro. Others might say it is fine. I really can't tell for sure. Dan
There's a couple of things you can do, first is if you have access to a timing light do a timing. Not for the timing but the Dampener. If the ring is loose will show timing is out. But we all know the timing is good so ring moved.
So if the timing mark shows+- in spec. Put a dab of paint or nail polish in a couple of spot at the point where the outer, rubber and hub come together. That way if it does move it will show easily.
If you see Any hints of movement do like above said, get it rebuilt or replaced
