most 17x11 for a 91-96 vette iv seen advertise a 50 mm offset .i found a company that advertise a 56 mm offset 17x11 ,this would allow the tire to sit 6 mm more in than the 50mm offset correct. :iagree:
no that not correct with company the 9.5 are 53mm and the 17x11 are 56 i like this better because it should tuck in more .the company is T Byrme motorsports-lt1
:nono: :nono:
56mm is the original front offset... u can even check the specs from factory GM
17x11 with a 56mm would not fit.. It would hit on the inside... If you have ever seen the 17x11 w/ 50mm it comes very very close to rubbing on the inside... the 56mm would most likely hit something...
50mm stick out less than 1/4 inch some dont even stick out, depends what vender you get your wheels from... but 56mm on the 11wheel will rub go ahead and try it ull see :lolg:

:iagree: Yep. The first thing they will hit is the emergency brake line on both sides. I just put on a set of 17 x 11 50+ offset and it just clears the lines by less than an index finger width....
Thats the problem.. different venders use there own offsets.. that why they are replicas... Just be careful and make sure that the offsets that the vender's are claiming are correct... Order the wheels and get them spot checked... Thats what i did...
Have the GM factory 17 X 11 GS wheels with 315's on the back. An index finger as mentioned before is about the space before rubbing. Looking at widening the wheels to 11.5 and go with 335's but will probably need a backspacer.
