I am absolutely tired of my 1994 6 speed vette. I threw on ARH a couple months back, and the car hasnt ran good at all since. In idle, it revs totally fine but whenever I try and drive, it starts misfiring and bogs over 1500 rpm. Used a paper clip and only code I got is H71 on module 9. Cant rlly find too much info on that code. Doesnt seem to exist when I look it up lol. Threw on new plug wires today hoping thatll fix it(old ones were arching) andddddd nothing. I kinda wanna say its the 02 sensors. Those of you who have threw on ARH know that the bungs are further placed. So, me being me, I elongated the cars harness for the sensors. Could that be an issue? Never was an electrical guy so, maybe thats it. Ive also noticed that when Im revving the car, it bangs pretty loud up in the throttle body/intake filter housing. Guess it somehow back fires through there? Maybe that could be something too?I took off the MAF area off today and it smelt like gas when opening the TB. Hmm. Someone pls put some input. One of these days Ill take it to a shop, I just have no money haha.
edit: I provided some vids where you can hear the backfire at the intake as well as me driving the car. Kinda hard to pick up on a video, but you can hear it a little bit/ see when it misses, the camera kinda bucks lol. Idk why you have to download to see them, but theyre there

If it ran great before the ARH and crappily afterwards then at least you know what the problem is.
you could either get a tune or put the stock manifolds back on. The joys of computer controlled engines.
The 71 code you pulled should have nothing to do with the issue since I believe that is related to ABS/ASR module. Are you sure you have the plug wires in the correct firing order??
