Id like to thank everyone who has helped me get so far with putting my car back together, i am so close. Spliced in a harness on my 86 from a harness off an 87 and have these conectors that dont seem to have a home. Looks like they would go to the smog/air pump which I deleted. But its been so long i just want to make sure. Does anyone know how many connectors the smog pump gets
They are the air switch connectors. The air from the air pump was sent to 2 switches / valves. They diverted that air to either the muffler which means it was not used and pumped overboard (under the AC compressor), or the exhasut manifold, or the cat.
The wires on them should be
Green connector = red and brown
White connector = red and black
The colors should be true if 38 years hasn't changed them or my old *** eyes aren't deceiving me.
