Default New Engine

I Have done a motor swap on my 94 with a 96 lt1 donor motor and am having trouble getting it to start. any advise ould be helpful... the new motor has had some work done to it and was running when pulled and so was mine although with a spun bearing. the motor turns over and I have 40lbs on the fuel rail but no spark to pllugs or injectors wont fire. new mototr has LS injectors in it and I was wondering if that may be throwing some code preventing from running

Call Jon at Fuel Injector Connection - High Performance Fuel Injectors and ask him. Why would someone use LS injectors in a LT1. I do not know the difference but Jon will. Dan

Well I finally figured it out....after days and days of checking and tripple checking everything was pointing to the Opti. As I decided to see if I could take my GM Opti off the old 94 engine and marry it with the newer after market 96 one and quickly learned that wasnt an option. As i started reassembling everything I noticed the plug was inside the housing of the 96 and not in the 94 and quickly figured out there was no way the plug ( that i had run every test imaginable on over the past 5 days) was never going to connect to the sensor. Luckily we recived the wiring harness from the donor car and the 96 plug was about 1.5 inches longer than the 94. Keep in mind its still the same plug but the 96 is streched out to mke it long enough to reach the new sensor. In short the 96 Opti has a longer plug and its runnig great. I may put the LS injectors back on tomorrow and see if theres any noticeable diffrence.
