L98 Headers

I have an L98 with iron heads. I currently have a set of Hookers with 1 3/4 primarys that I have trial fit on the engine while on an engine stand. I am concerned about the clearence of the #4 plug wire, iron heads have straight plugs.

Is anyone using this set up? Is the plug wire clearence a problem?

Does anyone have another header that they would recommend?

I think I have read that you can run the shorty spark plugs. Accel makes some.
