A question regarding electrical connectors/connections
Working through trouble shooting my electrical system, mainly ignition system and ecm for the c41 code.
My manual for the ignition coil shows the connection in the book as C-(BLK) A-(PNK/BLK) D-(WHT) B-(WHT) Straight across.
However the connecter straight across is A-B-C-D
color to letter is correct.
Is this just how it is and correct? Or an aftermarket connector pinned different?

On my 96 it is right above the left cat. I have my exhaust out for u-joints and was wire brushing the cat rusty studs and saw it for the first time yesterday. I pulled off the 15mm nut and cleaned all the connections. I don't think it really needed it though. Dan
