Default Still can't get booster fitting off plenum

I got out the stripped runner bolt - pounded in a T-40 socket and reefed. But the booster fitting is being a PITA. I have been going at the top bolt pulling toward me. Am I going at the wrong thing, or turning the wrong way? The plenum is loose and moveable, but there is still limited room and it won't come off with the booster hose attached. TIA :seeya

Not sure what you are trying to accomplish in the end, but I removed the plenum totally before removing that fitting. :) Made it much easier!

:iagree:

Slide the rubber hose off the metal line and take the plenum off the car and then mess with the fitting.

I was having trouble sliding it out with the bend in the metal hose. I understand that is the easiest method, and I was trying that. I'll just stick with it. Thanks! :seeya

The metal hose might be bolted to the back of your driver's side cylinder head. Have you checked that out yet? If so it should just be a single bolt somewhere around 14mm that you can unbolt.

It is a pain to get out but it will. You just gotta "work it" out of there, it's a lot easier if you take off the runners.

 on the stud part, sounds familiar :jester
