My 93 has headers, and the AC vibration, when on, under hard acceleration. Most notably second gear pulls.
I have the 3 bracket rods that the factory put on the ac to the exhaust and on top where it attaches alternator to manifold.
Still vibrates. Harmonic Balancer new, pulley and tensioner new.
Question is why does it vibrate in the first place? Low or high on freon? Or just poor design of attachment?
Assuming the A/C Comp. is not suspect, look to the headers, it's the only variable. The C.I. manifolds are thick and beefy as opposed to a 0.375" plate used on the header. Need a pic of Comp. mount if possible.
It could be that the A/C compressor always had some vibration, but now the headers are resonating at that frequency and you're getting an amplification.

Not familiar with the 93 programming but most cars shut off the compressor under heavy acceleration or high rpm's. Can you data log to see if it is being disabled?

This is under heavy throttle, not full, WOT.
Not aure of percentage throttle whem AC is cut off, but its probably very close to 100%
My 93 LT-1 with long tubes with A/C on does the same thing .. I think going from first to 2ent gear then stops in 3ed gear ???
MY 93 has a 307-rear gear, didn't shake till I replaced everything compressor 134A coolant ETC., not really a big deal it's not a bad thing just saying my does the same, I have checked and rechecked everything the install looks, well it won't go on but one way?? Been on for two years blows ICE cold I would fix but what would I fix ???
