Default 1985 Mystery harness bracket

This was on the harness around the rear right head. There is no mounting hole in the firewall and the orientation is wrong to mount to the head. Any thoughts?

It's very familiar to me, one part of me puts on the intake bolt. But on the upper Bell house bolt is also a possibility

It mounts like this on my '84, guessing it would be the same for your '85👍

Default 85

I really need an 85 or newer pic. Th

e 84 does not have and injector harness. My bracket does look like that but i cant get it to connect to the harness. On another topic i noticed an open vacuum line near the firewall. It goes to the connector shown. Not sure if the elbow is right.

No "thank you"? Just an argument. "It came on the harness". Dude. Your car and parts supply is a Heinz 57 collection of who knows what from how many different cars and years? That bracket is not on my one owner never molested 1985. . But it is on 78 S.A.'s 84. I think it is an 84 bracket.

The harness with the yellow arrow is the HVAC harness. It is indeed on my car, but in the factory original position, unlike the one on your mess.

Well, the bracket was on the harness when I bought the car. The harness shown with arrow is not on your car. From pics I see on factory originals, there are 2 harness in this area.
