94 Delayed Accessory Bus Question
Trying to figure out a wiring issue with an aftermarket radio. The Bose is long gone, I have a new unit to go in (to replace the old aftermarket unit) and one thing that’s always bugged me is the courtesy On for the radio that is supposed to last 15 minutes, so long as you don’t open the door, has never worked on my aftermarket radios. This said the windows DO continue to operate so I know the Delayed Accessory Bus is working.
I guess the question is, for purposes of the radio, it seems the ignition source I have wired is a true key on/off source and not the DAB. Where do I pickup the DAB +12? I did some probing with a meter to try to figure this out but all of my ignition on +12 that I found in the radio harness went dead immediately at key off. Part of the Bose had components in the rear bin, might it be a harness there?
