Default FSR Sticker

Hello everybody good morning, good afternoon, good evening or good day. Thanks for your help in advance and most of all merry Christmas to you and your family.

looking for a picture of the sticker on the front spring of a C4 Corvette. If you have the FSR sticker that would be fantastic. If you know the color and the size that would be great also, if a picture is not available. Mine is missing for judging.

thank you in advance for all your help

Some years it wouldn't be a 'sticker' but likely just FSR on a leaf only in maybe 1/2" letters? What year are you needing?

I saw, and responded to your inquiry on the NCRS TDB. (My membership number is 19,xxx so you can associate my name there with my moniker here.)

What leads you to believe that there should be a paper tag on your 96 front spring? EDIT: I found this thread. The judges in Texas were WRONG. That ChatGPT image of the FHB sticker may or may not be legit. FHB is the 1984-only Z51 rear spring. The Judging Reference Manual (which is full of errors and omissions) doesn't stipulate paper spring tags for a 1996.

The picture of the "AA" tag posted in your thread on TDB has been accepted to be and observed to be on 1990 ZR-1 only. If there are paper spring tags on other years and models of C4, I am not aware of them. Unless they are in the book (which they aren't) the judges won't be looking for them either.

As I said over there, ignore the issue. If some judge attempts to take a deduct for a missing spring tag on your 1996, challenge them to provide the proof that it is supposed to have one. It isn't in the book, I don't see how the deduct could hold up.(EDIT: It looks like they already did take a deduct. Now you know to challenge them if they try that again. The current group of C4 judges aren't very experienced, the bench for Texas was pretty shallow, it doesn't surprise me. You know more about your car than they do. Going forward, trust but verify. Challenge them.) As WVZR suggested, verify that "FSR" (if you have a convertible) is embossed into the spring (usually on the passenger side, bottom surface, but it could be on the left or on top) and move on. There is no paper sticker on a 96.

Thank you for the advice and feedback if nobody can tell me if there is a sticker then yeah I appreciate it. I won’t be going to Florida in January because I’m gonna go to the Corvette racing school for my C8.
